SharePoint Technology Audit

Are you getting the most for your SharePoint environment? Was it installed with default settings and not configured to support your organization’s scenario of use? Has the environment undergone a formal security audit, had trust boundaries established or been reviewed for best practices? If the answer is "no" to any of these questions, Portalogiks SharePoint Technology Audit may be right for your organization. This new product is designed for organizations that already have SharePoint, but now have dependence on it and need a formal review of the existing environment to ensure it is secure and will continue to deliver proven results.

The SharePoint Technology Audit includes a 5-10 page formalized report of the below audit items and deliverables. Upon receipt of the technology audit report, your organization can reconcile the recommendations internally, or have Portalogiks trained experts remedy items per request. The package includes:

  1. Security, review of critical updates, penetration testing, and recommendations to harden the environment
  2. Systems review to confirm that the hardware is configured properly for optimized performance
  3. SharePoint installation review to confirm all services and features are operating and configured properly
  4. Taxonomy review and recommendations to sustain the continued growth of the portal
  5. Review of which components of the SharePoint object model the organization are most dependent upon, and which it has yet to leverage
  6. Extensibility Roadmap that outlines which variables will reach their limits first to be aware which component will need to scale up or out first
  7. Incremental roadmap for providing increased Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity of the SharePoint environment as desired
